Parent Liaison

Welcome to Kay R. Pace School of the Arts, home of that Panther Pride, where our mission is to provide a foundation of knowledge for a successful lifetime of learning, through the integration of the Arts. The rationale for Arts integration and the Arts program is to offer students opportunities to focus on excellence in academics while discovering, exploring and refining their talents and interests in the Arts. Our vision is a learning community where students achieve high academic standards, develop good citizenship qualities and enhance their artistic expressions.

My name is Corinthia Ball, and I am the Kay Pace School of the Arts Parent Liaison. Our Parent Resource Center is located in Rm. 203, where you will find academic pamphlets, brochures, monthly workshop calendars, parent updates, volunteer information, employment resources, newsletters, and other educational resources. Any of these resources are available at your request.

Ultimately, it is my pleasure to assist you by becoming a vital link between home, school, and our community by supporting you, as we work together! Your active engagement in your child’s school is a fundamental ingredient in their overall success and my role as your Parent Liaison is to lead the parental engagement efforts for our school by maintaining our Title I compliance, while providing parents/families with valuable information, support, and community resources.

As your Parent Liaison, my greatest accomplishments include marriage of 35 years to my college sweetheart, being a good mother to my three children who are now amazing young adults, having a son-in-love and two precious grand baby girls. I received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration from Tuskegee Institute, now Tuskegee University in 1985, and later completed a Master of Elementary Education (M. Ed) degree from Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, Arizona in 2011.My educational career started in 2008 as a Long-Term Substitute Teacher with the Atlanta Public Schools.
